All of YKIP’s projects in 2002 and 2003 were dedicated to providing educational assistance to the children of Bali bombing survivors and families of those who lost their lives. The educational assistance still ongoing to date and known as the KIDS Scholarship Program.
Commencing in 2004, YKIP expanded its program by adding educational assistance program to support children from disadvantaged families in Bali, a program called the KEMBALI Scholarship Program which provides scholarship to elementary and high school students.
In addition to sponsorship for primary and secondary school students, YKIP also provides scholarships to students of university and vocational training programs, youth career guidance, leadership development and advocacy. The University Scholarship Program aims to foster future leaders for the society, achieved by a completion of a three- or four-year university education. The Vocational Scholarship Program provides students with quality skills required for commonly available jobs. Bringing graduates closer to reliable employment is essential to lifting themselves and their families out of poverty consequently “Breaking The Cycle”.
