Along with these supplies, students also received transport allowances to support their daily journey to school.<\/p>\n<p>Each student received a package consisting of the following items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>15 notebooks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>1 ruler<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>18 pens<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>4 pencils<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>1 correction pen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>1 highlighter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>2 erasers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>1 pencil sharpener<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>3 pairs of socks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The distribution began\u00a0in\u00a0Mengwi\u00a0and continued\u00a0through\u00a0Pengotan, Denpasar, Karangasem, and Gianyar, before concluding in\u00a0Tejakula. Along the way, the YKIP team collected copies of the students\u2019 report cards and certificates\u00a0from the previous semester\u00a0to\u00a0monitor\u00a0their academic progress and share updates with donors.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond distributing school supplies and collecting report cards, this activity also\u00a0provided\u00a0an opportunity to\u00a0hear directly from the students. During brief meetings with the students and their families, we listened to their experiences and\u00a0saw how\u00a0the\u00a0scholarship\u00a0support is making a meaningful difference in their lives. It\u00a0aims not only to ease the burden on their parents but also to give the children the opportunity to reach their\u00a0full\u00a0potential and <a href=\"https:\/\/positivepsychology.com\/personal-growth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">grow as individuals<\/a>. One of the stories\u00a0is\u00a0featured in this edition of the newsletter.<\/p>\n<p>Without the generosity of our donors, the school supplies scholarship for this\u00a0quarter would not have been possible.
