Era’s\u00a0journey is a testament to how determination can turn challenges into\u00a0success. A\u00a0vocational scholarship<\/a> recipient from Gianyar, she is now a\u00a0Business Administration\u00a0student\u00a0at Alfa Prima Denpasar and\u00a0was crowned campus ambassador in February\u00a0after\u00a0completing\u00a0a rigorous\u00a0three-month\u00a0selection process.<\/p>\n

In this role, she\u00a0represents\u00a0her campus at formal events and\u00a0promotes\u00a0it to the public. The\u00a0ambassador’s\u00a0election took the form of a pageant,<\/a>\u00a0where\u00a0candidates\u00a0competed\u00a0in the final round\u00a0held as a\u00a0public event.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe journey\u00a0began\u00a0in November last\u00a0year, when\u00a0I went through the selection process and\u00a0training\u00a0until the end of January 2026. At first, it\u00a0felt\u00a0like a\u00a0typical\u00a0learning experience,\u00a0but\u00a0over time, I\u00a0realised\u00a0it\u00a0had\u00a0changed\u00a0me drastically. I never\u00a0expected\u00a0that\u00a0even\u00a0small\u00a0things, such as the way I sit, stand, and\u00a0speak,\u00a0could\u00a0shape\u00a0how others perceive me. I also\u00a0came to understand\u00a0that appearance\u00a0plays a\u00a0significant\u00a0role\u00a0in\u00a0how we\u00a0interact with others,\u201d<\/em> Era\u00a0shared.<\/p>\n

The Grand Final<\/h2>\n

The participants in this event were representatives of\u00a0campus\u00a0organisations, and\u00a0Era\u00a0was\u00a0selected to\u00a0represent\u00a0the\u00a0Student\u00a0Executive Board.\u00a0Out of\u00a018 pairs of participants, only 10 pairs\u00a0advanced\u00a0to the grand final\u00a0in January.<\/p>\n

Era was not\u00a0very optimistic\u00a0about winning, but\u00a0she successfully\u00a0passed the\u00a0initial\u00a0selection\u00a0along with 19 other participants and eventually\u00a0secured a place in\u00a0the top 10. The grand final was held in a mall in central\u00a0Denpasar, where she\u00a0competed with nine other\u00a0finalists for\u00a0the title of female\u00a0campus\u00a0ambassador.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so nervous. I saw many talented\u00a0participants\u00a0and\u00a0truly\u00a0admired them. During the event, I\u00a0just focused on doing\u00a0my best\u00a0in\u00a0answering\u00a0the questions and left the rest\u00a0to\u00a0fate. I was already surprised\u00a0to be in\u00a0the top 10. From there, I went through interviews with the\u00a0panellists,\u00a0a\u00a0talent show, and\u00a0finally\u00a0walked on the catwalk and answered the final question. I\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0expect\u00a0to\u00a0win, but when\u00a0my name was\u00a0announced, I was on cloud nine<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n

As the winner, Era now\u00a0takes\u00a0on the\u00a0responsibility\u00a0of\u00a0representing\u00a0her campus in public relations activities. She attends formal events, promotes the campus, and\u00a0takes part\u00a0in positive activities both on and off campus until February 2027.<\/p>\n
