The 2025-2026 academic year began in July 2025, and YKIP is beyond grateful to continue the scholarship program thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors. We are thrilled to share with you that this academic year also marks the 21st anniversary of the KEMBALI Scholarship program.

After the graduation of 85 students at the end of the previous academic year, YKIP continues to support the remaining 252 students. In addition, 15 new students were admitted at the beginning of this academic year. In total, the KEMBALI Scholarship now serves 267 students, including 95 grade 12 students who are expected to graduate in July 2026.

KEMBALI Scholarship Program Activities

We completed the first-quarter scholarship distribution in August 2025, reaching all 267 students across the six areas: Denpasar, Badung, Gianyar, Karangasem, Pengotan, and Les Village in Buleleng Regency.

During this distribution, YKIP handed out school supplies, shoes, and transport allowances to scholarship recipients. Our team also visited the students’ schools to pay fees directly and meet with school officials to discuss student progress. These school visits help ensure transparency and strengthen our relationships with the schools.

In addition, YKIP covered admission fees for 17 students entering junior high school and 36 students starting senior high school this year. These fees included the cost of new uniforms, building fees, and other related expenses.  In some cases, the total amount exceeded YKIP’s budget, but we remained committed to easing the financial burden on parents as children transitioned to new schools.
