Pariyani, from Karangasem, graduated from Vocational Training at Monarch Bali Candidasa in October 2024. She majored in Food and Beverage Services and completed her hands-on training at a prestigious five-star hotel in Sanur. Thanks to the valuable experience she gained both on campus and during her internship, she successfully secured a position as a daily worker at another five-star hotel in Legian—before even officially graduating.
“After finishing my training in Sanur, I returned to campus and completed my final paperwork. Right after my final exam, I got a job as a daily worker at the hotel I’m working at now. Getting a job before graduation felt like a real achievement for me,” she shared proudly.
Driven by her skills and love for learning, Pariyani earned her first contract and has been working at the hotel for over six months. She enjoys the vibrant work environment, where she meets new people every day and receives support and guidance from her seniors and supervisors.
Beyond professional fulfillment, she is grateful for the financial stability her job provides. “The company pays me decently and provides insurance. I’m happy because now I can support my family. I help my parents pay for my younger sisters’ vocational high school tuition, and I occasionally help cover daily expenses. It feels good to give back to my family,” Pariyani explained with a smile.
While she’s content with her current role, Pariyani is already working toward her next dream: to work abroad on a cruise ship. Inspired by friends who have taken the same path, she’s saving money, improving her English, and actively searching for a trusted agency to help her reach this goal.
“I want to work on a cruise abroad so I can earn a better salary and see the world. I believe that with my skills and experience, I can make it. I’m grateful to YKIP for the opportunity to attend vocational school—it gave me proper training and opened the door to work in a five-star hotel. Now, I’m preparing myself for the next chapter: an international career.”
YKIP is incredibly proud of Pariyani’s achievements and wishes her all the best on her journey ahead. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we can continue providing vocational scholarships and helping students like Pariyani create brighter futures.
