In August 2024, YKIP kicked off the first quarter of scholarship distribution for the 2024-2025 academic year. We are thrilled to continue supporting 346 students across seven regions of Bali this year. Thanks to the generous donations we received, we are able to keep providing support to the sponsored students in the KEMBALI Scholarship Program.

The scholarship distribution began in the second week of August and concluded on the first day of September. During this period, YKIP provided students with essential school supplies, including books, pencils, pens, erasers, and a ruler, along with a pair of shoes and two pairs of socks. In addition to these supplies, YKIP also offered transportation allowances to parents, as well as allowances for batik uniforms and workbooks.

After distributing school supplies, YKIP moved on to the payment of school fees. YKIP staff visited each school to ensure that all fees were fully paid and to address any outstanding balances owed by students. A total of 34 schools were visited. This initiative not only ensures that fees are covered but also helps strengthen our relationships with the schools.

We continue to sponsor 320 students from the previous year, proudly supporting them as they work towards completing their education, at least through Senior High School. In 2024, we also began sponsoring 26 new students, all currently in Senior High School, with 12 in grade 12. This year, YKIP is supporting 91 12^th graders—the largest number we’ve sponsored in the past five years. We expect all of these students to graduate by July 2025.

We are incredibly grateful for the tremendous love and support that has enabled YKIP to continue helping children in their educational journeys. We also extend our thanks to the institutions and individuals whose sponsorships make this possible, as well as to our dedicated local partners who work tirelessly to keep the program running in their respective areas. Lastly, we sincerely appreciate our volunteers, who are always ready to lend a hand at YKIP events.
