From 13 October to 12 November, YKIP successfully conducted its second quarter distribution event for the children we support, continuing our ongoing commitment to improving the lives of children and helping them reach their full potential, regardless of their socioeconomic background.
Over a one-month period, the YKIP team organised a series of impactful activities. This included the distribution of cash allowances to our sponsored children, payment of school fees in Gianyar regencies and a special celebratory event to honour 34 of KEMBALI’s Best Students 2024. This recognition not only celebrated their academic and extracurricular excellence but also inspired their peers to strive for similar achievements.
In line with our mission to provide both financial support and personal development opportunities, we also delivered two educational workshops during the distribution period. The first workshop addressed reproductive health, offering vital knowledge on anatomy, puberty and access to health care. The second workshop focused on cybersecurity, equipping the participants with the skills to stay safe online and navigate the digital world responsibly. Both workshops were made possible through collaboration with our generous partners, whose contributions play an important role in empowering these children with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions and navigate the challenges of modern life confidently.
As the holiday season approaches, we also collected heartfelt letters from the children to their dedicated donors. Through the letters, which will be sent by the end of December, the children expressed their gratitude and shared their personal stories, further strengthening the bond between the children and the amazing individuals supporting their education.
Our commitment to ending poverty through education is at the very heart of every effort we make. None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our partners, donors, and volunteers.
