And the Support Continues

27 January 2022

We wish that each of you had a wonderful holiday with family and friends! As we entered a new year, we are happy to bring you the updates about our activity back in November 2021.

As we might all know COVID-19 cases are still occurring all over the world. But with the low number of cases last year, the government in Indonesia particularly in Bali has made some changes to the regulations related to COVID-19 precaution.

While the regulations about those who have been fully vaccinated will be allowed entry into Indonesia and a negative PCR test upon arrival are remain the same, the government has decided to reopen schools in most areas in Indonesia, including in Bali.

Back in October 2021, all KEMBALI sponsored students have started to study at school, while previously they had to learn remotely from home. The students were happy to see their friends and teachers again after a long time. The school starts at 7 AM and ends at 1 PM at the latest. Elementary students, usually finish studying earlier. Health protocols are strictly applied in every school.

Scholarship Distribution for KEMBALI Program

We are most grateful for all of you, who have always been on our side since the very beginning. Although the situation keeps changing and life is full of uncertainty, your continuing support and love have enabled us to keep our humanitarian effort ongoing.

In November 2021, we successfully conducted the KEMBALI 2nd distribution in 13 program areas; Kuta, Sanur, Mengwi, Pengotan, Tejakula, Karangasem, Gianyar, Sukawati, Blahbatuh, Ubud, Payangan, Tegallalang and Tampaksiring. The distribution events have been started from 6th to 26th November and we managed to distribute support in a form of cash allowance to a total of 480 KEMBALI students.

We are also delighted to share with you that during the events, there are 38 KEMBALI who show excellent progress at school and for that, YKIP has awarded all of them with gifts and certificates as appreciation. We can’t be prouder to see that our children are doing well at study despite this condition. And YOU are the one that has made it possible. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts!
